Skipper Electricals appointed Shah & Talati for design of its new manufacturing Unit at Bhiwadi. The unit which is capable to produce 500 mva – 765 KV Class transformers was recently completed was inaugurated by his Excellency Mallam Nasir Governor of Kaduna State Nigeria. The constructed area of the facility is about 10000 sqm and admin block area is 1350 sqm. The assembly bay area is having a 100 ton crane and also a 20 ton capacity crane at lower level. The facility includes a testing facility as well. The factory is having temperature and humidity control though a HVAC system in assembly, winding, packing and testing area. The entire factory is a pre-engineered building system comprising of rigid frames with bracings in longitudinal direction. The factory floor is having a 3 mm self leveling epoxy coating for dust control.
