Flometallic India was a brown field expansion of their foundry at Jhagadia. Technical challenges in the project were mainly related to connecting existing site fabricated structure to a new Pre-engineered building structure. The new extension required that cranes in 2 bays be able to travel to the new bay. In addition to that the outer sheeting line, roof line, ridge line, monitor line continuity is maintained. Also this was the first project were the casting line structure was connected to the PEB structure. In addition to this there were numerous machine foundations in a very limited space.
